Commitment to Sustainability

Today, sustainability and protecting our world are fundamental challenges to everyone and every business, and it is our inspiration. The mission of sustainability is focused on balancing environmental, economic and social concerns in order to "meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs" (United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development). Together with our customers and suppliers, we deeply understand it is our responsibility to care for our planet and its people. Every day, we identify suppliers showing such same values and source materials from such suppliers; and search for technologies and production techniques to minimize the use of electricity and other resources, and maximize the outputs and values from on our available assets . We and our customers actively participate in different green initiatives around the world, from the California's emission control initiatives, to LEED program, to Greenguard program, and to different government and non government organized activities to promote sustainability.

We believe in the long team, all such efforts in sustainability lead us to deliver innovative products and increased value to our customers around the world.

California Formaldehyde Regulation

When California Formaldehyde Regulation, CARB Phase II, is enacted in 2012, California will have the world's toughest formaldehyde emissions standards. Certification and enforcement of California's standards will also be extremely rigorous. We support such initiatives fully, and have acted to ensure we are fully compliant to such regulations, and our suppliers and all materials we use in our products are fully compliant to such regulations as well. GREENGUARD Program

The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute aims to protect human health and improve quality of life by enhancing indoor air quality and reducing people's exposure to chemicals and other pollutants. GREENGUARD Certification and the standards it sets up are now broadly recognized and accepted by sustainable building programs and building codes worldwide. We have applied the GREENGUARD standards in every step of our productions and management processes, and as a result, a number of our customers have taken our product lines for GREENGUARD tests, and each of these product lines with hundreds of product offerings have fully passed the GREENGUARD certification. LEED Program

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design , it is an
internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the
U.S. Green Building Council ( USGBC ) in March 2000, LEED provides building
owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing
practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and
maintenance solutions. We have engaged in the LEED program for different
projects we have worked with our customers in USA, and allow such customers
to gain credits / certifications to be more competitive in the market. More info on
